I know it has been a while since I have visited here, or did business here. but i need to sell my colt to proceed with other projects.(family)

This is (as far as i know) the FIRST 4g63 swapped colt in Texas...
I will send vin in pm only to interested buyers, I am the OWNER, clean blue texas title

183k ish miles on the body, significantly less on the engine (like 30k)
this car was my baby for years, and has been given great care. it is very fast, fast enough to run mid 11's on pumpgas.
it is an ORIGINAL turbo colt, one of 1600 imported into north america (including canada) for the 1989 model year, the only year they came to the states. this is the grand daddy to the evo. making this car almost the rarest mitsu in north america, although not numbered like the galant vr4, there are fewer of these.
red, typical fade, some dings, front bumper has been cut to clear a previous intercooler setup, but can be replaced with a stocker to appear completely stock.

almost not one part on this car has not been modified in one way or another.

crower 280 cams,
aem cam gears
new evo9 timing belt
eagle rods
wiseco pistons
ported and polished head, fresh valvejob
balanced rotating assembly
arp fasteners thoughout
new map ultimate duty head studs (comparable to arp L19's)
new mitsu mls headgasket
fic 950cc injectors
forrester racing heads intake manifold
ebay t3 tubular exh manifold with wastegate port modified to fit the tial 46mm wastegate
holset he351cw turbo (69lbs/min)
GINORMOUS fp intercooler (last 24x12x4 they ever sold)
honda half radiator
sweet custom catch can setup i built, with -10an lines
tial bov
tail 46mm wastegate, recirced
3" exh to to back with custom built tip (looks stock)
oil cooler with -8 lines and ported ofh relief valve
walbro 255
aeromotive adjustable fpr

ecmlink v3
lc-1 wideband

clutchmasters twin disc clutch
tre/shop built dsm fwd trans with tre ripgrip diff
rebuilt or remanned axles (come with another spare drivers side)
heavily modifed shifter, will not miss 3rd with nlts no matter how hard you try
new wheel bearings all around
rota slipstreams, 15x6.5 with new 225/55r15 falken ziex ze912

galant vr4 front and rear Rotora rotors
gvr4 big calipers up front
hawk hps pads up front, performance friction in rear
stainless brake lines
15/16" master cylinder from diamante
(yes, this sucker freakin stops!)

kyb agx struts on all4 corner
ground control coilovers for gvr4 "stiff kit" rides and handles TONS better than eibach sportlines on same struts
new ball joints
superpro urethane control arm bushings
traction bars from lower control arm to tow hooks
brace to tie lower control arm mounting points together

interior: typical colt disco purple and gray with seperated seams and worn foam
seat belts still work
has boost, oil pressure and wb gauge
tach works and speedo is accurate
has an aftermarket cd player in it and some aftermarket speakers.
has dynamat on floor under carpet

things were done and more recently redone to make the car safer, more reliable and more sleeperish.
it needs a little work to be made a real monster (ran 7,6@99.8 in the 1/8th on pump 93 octane, and my crappy driving)
it has fresh tags and inspection (for wise county)
it will come with the slicks, like new m&h racemaster 24.5x8.5x15's
also will come with all of my inventory of everything mitsu i own. so if you buy the car, bring a trailer for all the parts.

i WANT $5,000 for it as it sits obviously o.b.o..
keep in mind it comes with a large parts inventory, and that there is an easy 15k invested in the car if you were to buy all the good stuff new or good used. i prefer cash money, no payments.

please try not to contact my phone after 11pm. thanks

cars in worse condition with way less stuff on them are selling for 3k...

My dad and I used to have a 4g63 swapped mirage. It was an original 4g61 turbo car, but the motor was shot when we bought it. Took the engine out of my Talon complete with 50-trim turbo and all. We just cound never get it running right and eventually sold it to our friend. I think he still has it, but not sure if it is running. Mike saw it a couple of times when we took it up to the shop.
