Interrior is in pretty damn good condition, along with the body. Body has a few imperfections but i would consider it one of the cleaner 1gs in houston.I am asking a very fair price of 3,600$ for this car. Clear title and everything. Car has about 86,000 miles on it(which is very good) I almost never raced it or beat on it, and i honestly mean that. i know everybody says they babied their cars but they are full of shit, this was very well taken care of as you can see. Let me know if you have any question about anything. thank you

Maybe I just didn't see but is it FWD or AWD? Very nice by the way, that's a perfect interior, I've never seen one that clean before, a 92 that is.

* BUMP * for the clean car. Looks like a steal for the buyer.

What was your best 1/4 mile time if you ran it? How many lbs of boost are you running?

DV8
04-06-2006, 11:14 PM
he never took the car to the track, but he did beat my car on the streets by about 2 car lengths from a dead stop. my car has ran a best of 12.33. this was when he was running the FP Orange turbo though.

98gstclipse
04-06-2006, 11:46 PM
So it is AWD then. Can you back him on saying that this car is everything that he says it is DV8? It would help potential buyers to hear another memeber who has actually seen the car in person to verify that it is the real deal.

DV8
04-07-2006, 07:33 AM
yeah, the car is an awd. the interior is immaculate and the tranny shifts great. i've driven the car when he had the stock-ish motor with the FP turbo and it was a beast. now with the new motor it should be ready for anything you are going to throw at it (within reason). i don't think he's raced it since it got the new engine put in it.

i can also vouch for nick in saying that he's the kind of person that didn't half-ass any of his mods or settled for the cheap stuff. i also know he's also a good person to do business with since i almost bought another dsm off of him and i also sold him the powder coated valve cover that sits in the engine bay right now.

good luck.

Thanks DV8. It sound like yall are both stand up guys. Your comments are greatly appreciated and will probably give potential buyers alot more confidence in their decision to buy this car. There are alot of people out there who will screw you over just for a buck. I've delt with some of those people before. People don't have morals nowadays. Sad. Good to hear that there still are honest people out there.

Thank you very much for the compliemnts guys. and just to note, the car is not perfect. the interrior does spots and cracks here and there and the body is not perfect, but it is one of the nicer 1gs you will find around town. And yes I did beat dv8( haha) with my old setup, but i feel even more confident in this setup than I did with the other engine/turbo. saturday I will be going up to fist and putting in a new alternator/starter.

To Mike gsxtc-I just cant afford to keep spendin money and time on it. in a few months ill be moving far away from home and probably entering texas tech business school. i cant afford to not have a car for a month here and there.

That's the reason the best first mod to ANY car is another car you can drive when the "toy" breaks.

Although from the pictures someone will be getting a nice, clean ride.

with the supporting mods and the 16g, he should be making low 300's to the wheels.

that's just a guesstimation.

with the amount of engine work.. and the full support mods/port work.. i can really see 350+ to the wheels with a tune..

cams/alky injection and 22psi, its a 400whp car.

Gonna need a better engine management than an AFC to get it there.

well.. it has a maf-t, not a afc.. but will end up with a uego wideband and dsmlink.

Thats weird? Mine goes "there" with an afc. Just to set the record straight. I can damn near do everything a link can do with my afc (the important stuff anyways). High fuel pressure and negative fuel settings makes lots of timing. I dont have all the bells and wistles but Im sure I can manipulate your map.

I somewhat agree, that car will need more than 22psi to do it though, more like maybe 24-25 psi. that thing prob maxs out at around 400hp though. That thing should easily make mid 350's.

and a turbo that can flow enough for 10's helps too. I was referring to trying to do that with his current turbo.
