Make and Model
Eagle Talon TSI VIN Says its a NON TURBO, but I assure you it is a TURBO

VIN
will have shortly

Mileage
135,xxx

Transmission Type
Manual

Title Status
clean

Asking Price
1,800

Modifications
Yes

Mods: Walbro 190(kevin), blue top injectors(rigbender), AEM Cam Gears, hollowed cat, greddy turbo timer (james), 2g exhaust manifold not installed, new tranny 30,xxx miles, Turbo XS RFL BOV, blacktop CAS, capped off vaccume lines, other stuff.

Brand New: alternator, battery, clutch slave, clutch, o2 sensor, temperature switch sensor, internals in head, axles, starter, several hoses, plus more.

Also comes with 91 BOV and pipe, CAS, fuel rail, second head that needs new valves, 3 quarts of MT-90 tranny fluid, 91 MAF, second radiator, second front bumper, some other random things just dont care to go look.

Needs: transmition speed sensor, boost controller or solinoid, turbo oil return line gaskets

Car does start and runs fine, now has oil leak because I just changed the turbo oil return line and didnt use a gasket on one side, so it will leak if you start it up.

I wont vary much on the price, I'm just not sure if I want to do the whole dsm thing again.

Open to trades for a 1990+ integra, civics, del-sol, 240s, or whatever.

Car has no door panels, no headliner, no sterio, trimmed from the rear seats back. Still have the original decklid.

Pm if any quesions.

just a suggestion. the car is NOT a TSI. dont represent it as so.

post the real trim and then say TURBOED.

It is a TSI, not turboed! The motor is a turbo motor! Full swap tranny, axles ecu, everything.

I think what dan is saying is that if someone does a carfax check or something... it'll come up NOT a tsi..

you should maybe used to word SWAP in the title of description... it is a little misleading.

I know you did the swap Brad but in actuality it's not a tsi but it sure is a swap.

good luck chuck!!!

i do realize its turbo motor swap.

but the car is an ESi or whatever NOT a TSI.

you put a wolf in a sheepskin its not a sheep, its a wolf.

do not mislead potential buyers.

Ok, well you said turboed like I had taken my nt motor and slapped on a turbo to pass it off. So for everyone to understand, I took everything out of a TSI, and everything out of my ESI. Then I put everything from the TSI into the ESI shell. There is nothing that a TSI doesnt have that is in my ESI shell. The only good thing about the vin number is that it will save you money on your insurance.

There was no 1G ESi. 1G n/ts with a 2.0 were either an Eclipse GS or a Talon ES. I cant remeber if the Talon DL's has a 2.0.

The DL didnt come till 93, and that was a 1.8nt.

But on the other hand mine was a NON-TURBO, and is now a TURBO. I dont care about the little details.

Eclipse GSX: AWD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_wheel_drive) model equipped with a 210 hp turbocharged (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbocharger) 2.0 L 16-valve (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multivalve) DOHC Mitsubishi 4G63 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Sirius_engine#4G63) engineThe models had different trim accoutrements:
Base - No tachometer, standard antenna, No rear defroster, no driving lights, 14" steel wheels with covers or center caps
RS - Tachometer, 14" alloy wheels, optional spoiler
GS / GS Spyder - Power antenna (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antenna_%28radio%29), driving lights, cruise control (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cruise_control), body coloured door handles, 16" alloy wheels, lower body cladding, spoiler, rear windshield washer (except Spyder)
GS-T - 16" Alloy 5 spoke wheels, Grey painted panel around lower body paneling (1995–96), larger spoiler (ONLY on 1997–99)

GSX - 17" wheels after 1997, 1995–96 cars had 16" alloys, Grey painted panel around lower body paneling (1995–96), larger spoiler (ONLY on 1997–99),There was a freshening of the style for the 1997 model year (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_year). The front grille opening was made less 'classic' and more 'aggressive' with regards to the radiator opening. The slightly reshaped headlights acquired black areas internally. The driving lights became smaller and round. The rear bumper cap was altered and had the reverse lights moved away from their original central position, presumably to reduce the 'ponderous-ness' or the rear view of the car.
The Talon was available in four trim levels, Base, ESi, TSi and TSi AWD. The Eagle Talon saw its production end in 1998 when Eagle (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eagle_%28automobile%29) went out of business.
Talon Base: equivalent to Eclipse Base
Talon ESi: equivalent to Eclipse RS & GS
Talon TSi: equivalent to Eclipse GS-T
Talon TSi AWD: equivalent to Eclipse GSXThere were similar alterations to the styling of the Talon as there was for the Eclipse.
There was a unique version of the 2G Eclipse sold in some European (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe) countries. It used a normally-aspirated Mitsubishi 4G63 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Sirius_engine#4G63) motor, similar to what was available in the 1G, unique sideview mirrors, and unique amber rear turn signals.

Sorry, the last two nights that I spent involved alot of true DSMs. I guess I had just forgotten what its like. I have put too much time and money into this car to just give it up. Thank you to HTOWN people and the other DSM owners that were out on Friday and Saturday.

That is all.
